Role Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Administrator with in-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hands-on experience in cloud security. The ideal candidate will manage our cloud infrastructure, ensure robust security measures, and support our ongoing cloud operations.

What will you do @ OnlineSales.ai?

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.
Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.

Security and Compliance:

Implement and enforce cloud security best practices and policies.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC 2).
Manage access controls, and identity management, and ensure data protection and privacy.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats in a timely manner.
Maintaining & preparing records for ISO, SOC 2 certifications.

Automation and Scripting:

Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Monitoring and Troubleshooting.
Implement monitoring solutions to track cloud performance and availability. Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues and incidents.
Optimize resource utilization and cost management through continuous monitoring and analysis.

Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on cloud-related issues.
Provide details and answers to client security questionnaires.

You will be a great fit, if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in cloud administration, preferably with GCP.
Proven hands-on experience in cloud security, including implementing security controls and responding to incidents.
Proficiency with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
GCP certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Security Engineer) are highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage client security questionnaires and communication+record creation for ISO/SOC2 certifications.
Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with network security, firewalls, and VPNs.
