Role Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our expansion into digital native marketplaces and omnichannel retailers across India and SouthEast Asia region. This role is ideal for a seasoned hunter with exceptional skills in acquiring new customers, driving growth, and building strong relationships with C-suite executives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing sales strategies, maintaining a high level of CRM discipline, and meeting ambitious revenue targets.


Responsibilities:

New Customer Acquisition

  • Act as a hunter to identify, prospect, and acquire new clients across digital native and omnichannel retail sectors.

  • Develop and execute targeted go-to-market strategies to penetrate new accounts, focusing on strategic wins with high growth potential.

  • Deliver tailored pitches to engage with CXOs and senior decision-makers, showcasing the business value of our solutions.

Relationship Management & CXO Engagement

  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships across key accounts to drive strategic partnerships.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address client needs and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

Sales Process & CRM Management

  • Own the entire sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—while ensuring high standards of sales pipeline hygiene.

  • Maintain up-to-date data and forecasts in the CRM system, ensuring transparency, predictability, and pipeline accuracy.

  • Champion sales process discipline, following best practices in opportunity tracking, qualification, and customer touchpoints.

Sales Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as a mentor and thought leader within the sales team, fostering a performance-driven culture.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction.


You will be a great fit, if you have:

  • 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record in new customer acquisition and business development.

  • Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated success in high-growth environments.

  • Experience managing complex sales cycles with digital marketplaces, ecommerce platforms, or omnichannel retailers.

  • Ability to engage with CXOs and other executive stakeholders with confidence and impact.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) with a focus on maintaining high standards of sales hygiene.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey business value clearly and persuasively.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

  • Self-starter with a bias for action and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Note: This role offers a hybrid work model and is open to candidates across India. However, based on business needs, occasional in-person presence in Pune may be required.
