About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Market Research Analyst to join our team. As a Market Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in gathering insights about our clients, prospects, partners, and competitors. Your findings will drive strategic decision-making, help identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities, and support the entire consultative sales process. This role involves in-depth desk research, data analysis, and effective communication of key insights to various stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to the growth of our startup.
Conduct thorough desk research and data analysis to gather insights on the Retail Media Advertising and Digital Advertising industry, competitors, and market trends
Identify potential prospects, understand their needs, pain points, and buying behaviors through market research
Assist the sales team in prospecting by providing valuable data-backed leads and contact information
Monitor and analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning to identify areas of competitive advantage
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns based on market research findings
Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the existing client base to support revenue growth
Work closely with the sales team to provide them with relevant market intelligence and actionable insights
Maintain up-to-date and organized research databases, ensuring easy access to critical information.
Produce comprehensive reports and presentations based on research findings for various stakeholders.
Stay updated with industry news, market developments, and emerging technologies relevant to our sector.
You will be a great fit, if you have:
2-3 years of experience with market research firms, preferably in Technology, Media and Telecom domain or in Enterprise Tech companies / start-ups in market research role
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data.
Proficiency in using online research tools, databases, and resources to gather relevant information.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings effectively to different audiences.
Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy and reliability of research outcomes.
Curiosity, proactiveness, and a problem-solving mindset to explore new avenues for research.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and also independently when required.
